RECOMMENDED USE
- Interior or exterior metal surfaces, such as file cabinets, fencing, metal drains, piping, outdoor patio furniture and tools. Not recommended for roofs.

- DRYTIME: Usually dries in 8 hours. Low temperature or high humidity may increase dry time.

APPLICATION METHOD
- Stir or mix paint before and during use.
- For color uniformity intermix all containers. Apply with brush, roller or paint pad. Do not thin. Do not overspread.
- When painting with a color that was tinted by the store, always prime before painting. Surface temperature must be above 40°F (5°C).
- Average coverage 450 sq. ft.per gallon.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Remove all dirt, dust, chalk, grease, oil, loose rust and paint.
- Wipe bare metal with mineral spirits to remove oil and grease.
- Dull glossy surfaces with sandpaper.
- Prime all bare metal with proper X-O Rust Primer for optimum protection of the surface.
- Topcoat within 72 hours after priming.
WARNING
- CONTAINS CRYSTALLINE SILICA HARMFUL IF INHALED. Inhalation of crystalline silica can cause cancer.
- Risk of cancer depends on duration and level of exposure to dust generated from sanding surfaces or spray mist.
- When sanding or spraying product use. LIQUID PAINT AND VAPOR MAY CAUSE IRRITATION: Use only with adequate ventilation. To ensure fresh air entry during application and drying, open all windows and doors.
- If headache or dizziness is experienced during use leave area for fresh air. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY: Paint contains glycol ethers. May be harmful if swallowed in large quantities.
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Can cause irritation. Warning: This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
- FIRST AID: INHALATION: If excessive exposure symptoms are experienced, leave area to obtain fresh air. If difficulty continues, get medical assistance immediately. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately. EYE CONTACT: Flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. SKIN CONTACT: Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
