DESCRIPTION
- This 100% acrylic latex primer can be used on exterior wood, concrete, cement blocks, stucco and asbestos cement shingles to provide an excellent surface in preparation for top coating

RECOMMENDED USE
- Exterior wood siding, concrete, cement blocks, stucco, and asbestos cement shingles. Will block mild stains but for severely staining wood like Redwood or Cedar Weatherall Oil base Primer HP 208 is recommended.
- THINNING: Thin sparingly with water if necessary for spraying.
- DRY TIME: Dries to the touch in 1-2 hours. Recoat if necessary after 4 hours. High humidity or low temperature may increase dry time.
- COVERAGE:250-400 sq.ft. per gallon depending on the porosity of the surface to be painted.
- CLEAN UP: Wash tools with warm water and soap immediately after applying.

- STORAGE: Protect unused product from freezing.
- DISPOSAL: ENVIRONMENTAL TIP: Full: Give remaining product to neighbors or community organization. Partially full: (If state or local regulations allow) Pour residue into absorbent material. When dry, dispose of in trash for pick up. Empty: this container may be accepted in a recycling program.

- Coverage= 250 sq ft on rough surfaces and 400 sq ft on smooth surfaces.
APPLICATION METHOD
- Only use product when surface has been properly prepared (see Surface Prep).
- Use product when surface and air temperature are between 50-90
- Thin sparingly if necessary for spray application only.
- If spray applied back brush to push product into the substrate
- Do not apply if rain or dew is expected within 24 hrs or if outside temperature could drop below 40
- Do not apply in hot sun; follow shade around the house
- Use a premium brush. A roller or pad should be used to apply to smooth surfaces only.
- The preferred product for tannin staining woods such as cedar and redwood is HP208 Oil Based Exterior Primer Stir paint occasionally while using.
- Allow masonry to cure for 30 days before priming.
- Do Not Overspread.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Inadequate surface prep accounts for about 90% of all exterior paint failures.
- The surface must be free of dirt, chalk, mildew, and loose peeling paint. -Damaged wood must be repaired or replaced.
- Cracks, gaps, and holes need to be filled with a paintable acrylic siliconized caulk.
- All bare wood areas need to be properly primed.
- Glossy surfaces need to be sanded and wiped.

WARNING
- CONTAINS CRYSTALLINE SILICA HARMFUL IF INHALED. Inhalation of crystalline silica can cause cancer.
- Risk of cancer depends on duration and level of exposure to dust generated from sanding surfaces or spray mist.
- When sanding or spraying product use. LIQUID PAINT AND VAPOR MAY CAUSE IRRITATION: Use only with adequate ventilation. To ensure fresh air entry during application and drying, open all windows and doors.
- If headache or dizziness is experienced during use leave area for fresh air. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY: Paint contains glycol ethers. May be harmful if swallowed in large quantities.
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Can cause irritation. Warning: This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
- FIRST AID: INHALATION: If excessive exposure symptoms are experienced, leave area to obtain fresh air. If difficulty continues, get medical assistance immediately. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately. EYE CONTACT: Flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. SKIN CONTACT: Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
